Q: What is the Kosher Advantage
card?
A:
The Kosher Advantage card is a discount card that allows
cardholders to receive discounts at kosher restaurants,
butchers, and stores across the NY-NJ area. The typical
discount is 10% off of your entire purchase, but may vary
from business to business.
Q: How does the Kosher Advantage
card work?
A: At the
time of payment, present your Kosher Advantage Card with
your normal means of payment. Your discount will be
automatically subtracted.
Please note that a few of our
partners have a cash only limitation when applying the
Kosher Advantage discount.
Q: This seems too good to be true.
What do the restaurants, butchers, and businesses get out of
it?
A: Advertising. We have negotiated specific
deals with each Kosher Advantage Partner. In exchange
for the discount they offer our card members, we provide
advertising and promotions for them. While the
specifics vary for each establishment, we put their names in
front of you. By offering the discount, Kosher
Advantage Partners
provide you with an incentive to patronize
them instead of the competition.
Q: How Much
Does It Cost?
A: The Kosher Advantage
card is free
for the remainder of the month your order it in as well as
the following month.
After your
free time expires, you will be charged $3.99 per month for
the first card, $1.99 per month for each supplemental (spouse,
parent, child) card.
This fee is
automatically charged to your credit card on the first of
every month after your free time expires.
Q: Will I be charged anything after
the two free months expire?
A: Only if you wish to keep your Kosher Advantage
card. If
you are not completely satisfied, simply mail it back before
your free time expires and you will never be billed.
Q: How is this risk-free?
A: By signing up for the Kosher
Advantage card, you automatically receive the rest of this
month and all of next month free. If you are not completely
satisfied, simply mail your card back to us before your free
time expires and you will never be charged. There are no
cancellation fees.
We use the free time to introduce you to our
card. We are confident that after trying it, you will keep it.
Q: What do I get?
A: With the Kosher Advantage Card,
you will receive discounts at all of our
partners. You will SAVE MONEY as long as you have the Kosher Advantage Card.
Q: How will I be notified of new
restaurants, butchers, and stores joining the Kosher
Advantage program?
A: The night we enlist a new a business, an email is sent
to all of our members and news subscribers informing them of
the new available discount. For this reason only, we ask
that you include your email address when purchasing your
Kosher Advantage Card.
Q: What do I do if I wish to keep
my membership after my free months?
A: Simple. Keep your card. Your credit
card will be billed automatically on the first of the month. If at any
point thereafter you wish to cancel your membership, simply
mail your Kosher Advantage Card back to us.

Q: Is the Kosher Advantage Card the same as a Credit
Card?
A: No, the Kosher Advantage Card is not a credit card. The
Kosher Advantage Card is a card you show, and then pay the
balance of your bill.
Q: Does the Kosher Advantage
discount apply to the whole group or just the cardholder?
A: The
Kosher Advantage discount applies to the entire group, not
just the cardholder. The percentage will be subtracted from
the entire bill.
Q: Can someone else in my
family use my Kosher
Advantage Card?
A: If an
additional, supplemental card is required (i.e. if
two people in the same household need the Kosher Advantage
Card at the same time), one can be purchased for $1.99/per
month, billed concurrently with the primary card.
Supplemental cards are only available for a spouse or child
living at home.
Q: What does Kosher Advantage do with my
information?
A: Kosher Advantage does not sell or trade any of our
members' information. We retain your information for
our use only. All correspondence to you via e-mail will
have Kosher Advantage in the subject line.
